Former grant winner says thanks

Posted: Updated:

A special teacher who won her One Class At a Time grant four years ago, says the funding is still making an impact in the lives of her students.

Caddo Middle Magnet teacher Sarah Knick encourages her students to think outside the box in the classroom.

With her grant, Knick was able to purchase material about the story of neuroscience and it's origin. "I was able to buy a lot of hands on things brain games actual brain models so that I could teach the individual parts of the brain," said Knick.

Making a difference in the lives of her students, One Class At a Time.
