KTBS LLC is proud to announce that KTBS-TV received the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters 2014 Annual Prestige Award for Community Service. KTBS Community Services Director Jan Elkins was in Baton Rouge, Wednesday, to receive the award on the station's behalf.

"KTBS has been a locally-owned television station for nearly 60 years. ‘On Your Side' is not just a slogan at KTBS. It's our mission," said George Sirven, Station Manager.

"KTBS delivers on its promise to be ‘On Your Side' through many community works including the St. Jude Dream Home, the KTBS MASH BASH, Operation A+ and more," said Elkins. "It's an honor to be recognized by peers in the industry for our community commitment."

Sirven and Elkins also thanked viewers and advertisers who help support KTBS Community Service efforts.

Here is the entry submitted to the LAB for Community Service.
