SHREVEPORT, La. -
The push is on to get people signed up on health insurance exchanges before enrollment comes to an end.
As part of the Affordable Care act, Mar. 31 is the deadline to get signed up for health insurance if you don't already have a plan.
Otherwise, you will be paying a penalty in your 2014 taxes.
Brian Burton, with Navigators for a Healthy Louisiana, is gearing up to get people signed up this month.
Burton is hosting an On Your Side On Call phone bank with KTBS 3 next week.
"People will be able to call into the phone bank, ask questions and set up a follow up meeting after the phone bank to meet with a person that will be able to connect you to an insurance provider," said Burton.
If you'd like to learn more about getting signed up for an insurance exchange plan, Brian and his team will be answering your questions on Mar. 25 from 5-7 p.m. on KTBS 3 News.
