Missing Shreveport girl found unharmed

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTBS) -

A missing Shreveport girl was reunited with her family Sunday evening, according to Cpl. Marcus Hines, the Shreveport Police spokesperson.

Kaaryn Young, 12, was reported missing Saturday, March 22, 2014. She was last seen leaving a friend's house in Shreveport, police said. Young was said to have left the home around 5:30 p.m. and has not been seen or spoken with since that time.

Hines said Monday, Young was found at a friend's house unharmed. The Shreveport Police no longer investigate the case.
