Three suspects are in police custody following a vehicle burglary

Three suspects are in police custody following a vehicleburglary that occurred in west Shreveport Monday morning.

 Just before three a.m. this morning, Shreveport PolicePatrol Officers were called to a home located in the 6200 block ofGreenwood Road relative to a concerned citizen who was witnessing whatappeared to be a vehicle burglary in progress.  Upon officers arrival tothe scene, three offenders that had been observed breaking into a vehicle andremoving items, were apprehended after a brief foot pursuit.  Authoritiesalso managed to recover multiple items that were stolen during theburglary.  The stolen items were returned to the rightful owner.

 The suspects captured in the act were identified as: 17 year old Laroyce Daniel-Brown, 17 year old Jeremy Bell, alongwith a 14 year old male juvenile, all of Shreveport.  Following theirarrests, the troublesome trio was transported to the Shreveport CityJail.  Bell was charged with two counts of vehicle burglary, whileDaniel-Brown was charged with two counts of Accessory after thefact of Vehicle burglary.  The 14 year old juvenile was charged withtwo counts of vehicle burglary and later booked into the Caddo JuvenileDetention Center.

    A sailboat accident claimed the life of an unidentified man in his early 20's Friday evening.According to the St. Tammany Sheriff's Office, a small sailboat flipped over in Lake Pontchartrain near the mouth of Tchefuncte River around 5 p.m.Another person who was thrown from the boat was rescued, said the sheriff's office.Around 8:30 p.m., St. Tammany Sheriff's Office confirmed a body had been found.
