We would like to introduce you to another amazing educator from Judson Fundamental Elementary Magnet,  who uses creative avenues to encourage learning.

At Judson Elementary in Shreveport, fourth grade teacher,  Antoinette Edwards believes children learn best with creative methods, so she created a program called Project P.E.N.

"Project P.E.N.  stands for photos, essays and narratives," said Edwards.

Thanks to her One Class At a Time grant, Edwards was able to help her classroom of young, bright learners develop their craft of writing.  "We purchased scrap booking materials and design paper and things like that, so that the children could showcase the writings that they do in class," Edwards.

Mrs Edwards is making a difference in the life of her students,One Class At a Time.
"Thanks to my One Class At a Time grant, I was able to engage my students in a better set of writing, they were enthused about writing, it has made them become better writers," said Edwards.
