DESOTO PARISH, La. (KTBS) -

The penalty phase continues today with the defense in the Brian Horn murder trial in DeSoto Parish.

It appears that more than 20 people have showed up to testify for the defense as Horn's attorneys try to persuade the jury to spare Horn's life. Horn's attorneys have already called Brian Horn's uncle, Alvin Horn, and Horn's 96 year old grandmother.

Brian Horn was convicted earlier this week of killing Justin Bloxom, 12, four years ago.
