Severe weather causes storm damage in Liberty Eylau

Posted: Updated:
Texarkana, Texas -

Storms that rolled through the Texarkana area Thursday night left damage to homes in the Liberty-Eylau community.

A neighborhood block of trailer homes on Krobot Circle received roof damage from the severe weather.

Metal storage buildings were also beaten down by the high winds.

While neighbors say they have alot of clean up, it could have been alot worse.

"We can still stay and live here, we don't have to move. I'm thankful everyone was okay," said Brandie McBride, Bowie County, Texas resident.

Several other neighboring counties experienced trees down and power outages, but no injuries were reported.
