Rangers bring RBI program to Shreveport

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, La -

The Rangers influence was felt this week in Shreveport as part of baseball's RBI program, that stands for reviving baseball inner cities, and the Rangers have donated equipment and money for our local youth teams to use.  On Thursday, there was a free clinic at Cargill park where head coaches and players from LSU-S and BPCC ran drills and helped several young players with their games and introduced others to baseball for the first time.  Baseball's RBI program has made its way in to 200 cities and helped more than 200,000 young players.
