OU's Aaron Colvin; quality pick Sooner or later despite injury

Posted: Updated:
Metairie, La -

The New Orleans Saints have added to the secondary this of-season through free agency and continue to look like they may address it even more in the draft.  No less than seven big school and small school defensive backs will visit, or have visited the Saints this week.

Including Oklahoma's Aaron Colvin.  Scouts love Colvin's ability to read coverages, and was doing a great job at the senior bowl where he tore an ACL.  Saints general manager Mickey Loomis and the Saints must have liked what they saw because Colvin could now be a late round steal.

Colvin says a cornerback has to have a short memory and he has one. Colvin is also looking forward to testing himself against the best of the best and mentioned the likes of Calvin Johnson by name.

Colvin clearly enjoyed his time in New Orleans, tweeting how the city has the best food in the world.
