NFL-bound Jackson calls Haughton's Dak Prescott a "great leader"

Posted: Updated:
Starkville, MS - Mississippi State guard Gabe Jackson has size, strength and power.  At 6’ 3”, 336 pounds this three-year starter is considered one of the top interior linemen in this draft. “I’m consistent, trustworthy and work hard,” says Jackson. “I’m not cocky, but confident.”

Jackson’s play helped Mississippi State to one of its best offensive seasons in school history.  As Jackson leaves, he sees the bulldog’s future being very bright after having played with returning quarterback Dak Prescott.

“ I’ve never been around a guy who’s like him. He’s hard working. It’s hard to describe because a word hasn’t been made for him yet.”

Jackson says Prescott influenced him.. Prescott’s leadership in the huddle was something Jackson had not seen before. Jackson’s future looks bright as he heads to the NFL, but he believes Prescott has Mississippi State’s future looking very bright as well.
