Trai Turner considered Tres Bien by NFL

Posted: Updated:
BATON ROUGE, La - LSU could have as many as ten players drafted in two weeks.. Several offensive stars are getting attention, but one who has been a bit overlooked, is offensive lineman Trai Turner, but not by our draft expert, Director of Operations for NFL Scouting Services, Dave-Te Thomas.

"Do I love Trai Turner,” says Thomas. “He reminds me of another player who came oout ofthat program, Alan Faneca. This kid blocks better than any interior lineman in this draft not named Travis Swanson up at Arkansas.  I like my guys getting in to the second level and when they get to the second level to have good angle ability and keep their head on a swivel.  He's a smart kid and came along at the right time. You look around the league, especially with running backs by committee, you need good interior blockers and that's Trai Turner."

Turner has a third to fourth round grade from the league.
