SHREVEPORT, La - Evangel's Lady Eagles rallied from two down in the seventh to take down Saint Louis Catholic 6-5 Saturday night.  The win sends Evangel back to the quarterfinals in Sulphur to take on rival John Curtis.

The Lady Eagles trailed by two runs in the final inning until Olivia Sessions' fly ball was dropped in the outfield by the Lady Saints, bringing in two runs to send the game into extra innings.  With a runner on in the bottom of the 9th Kayla Calhoun sent a ground ball through the infield that would bring in the winning run.

Louisiana Tech commit Carolina Sanchez got the win, pitching all six innings.  She also added a solo home run in the 5th to bring the Lady Eagles within one run.

In other action Saturday Benton rallied from two runs down to beat Assumption 3-2 and Calvary shut out Oak Hill on the road 3-0 to punch their ticket to the state tournament in Sulphur.
