Shreveport-Bossier City real estate agents cleanup Cedar Grove

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, La. -
If you were in Shreveport's Cedar Grove community Thursday, chances are you saw a bunch of red shirts.
Keller-Williams Realty held its sixth annual "Red Day." It's a yearly, nationwide event where more than 700 KW offices set time aside to provide meaningful community service, like cleaning up streets or plantings. All of the agency's Shreveport-Bossier City realtors participated. They chose to help Cedar Grove because the community is celebrating its hundred year anniversary as a development.
"We're really blessed to sell real estate and what that means to our families," Dana Hayes, local KW CEO, said. "We have to pass this area everyday to get to our office. These are great people. They buy homes. They sell homes. They serve us, as well. It's nice to be able to give back."
KW estimates around 100,000 agents nationwide celebrate Red Day. That's roughly 50 years of combined community service time.
