Bossier - Webster District Attorney Schuyler Marvin announced that on Thursday, after two hours of deliberation in Bossier Parish District Court, 17 year-old Tremond Thomas was found guilty by a twelve person jury, of Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Burglary.

Assistant District Attorneys Charles Smith and Doug Stinson prosecuted the case and Lee Harville was the defense attorney. Thomas, along with co-defendant Randy Andrew, is charged with killing Ieshia Winbush after breaking into her house to steal a playstation.

Marvin says "I was very impressed by the way Mr. Stinson presented the case to the jury and proud of the guilty verdict. I am grateful for the jury's service and diligent deliberation." Mr. Marvin commended the Bossier City Police Department and their detectives for the hard work and continued efforts in the investigation.

Judge John Robinson presided over the case and ordered a pre sentence investigation. Sentencing has been scheduled for July 22, 2014.
