Texas Murder Suspect Turns Himself In

Nash, Texas - Police say the suspect in a weekend homicide in Nash, Texas turned himself in Monday morning.

It happened at 9:30pm Sunday off Proetz Road.

Authorities say a woman called saying someone was shot in the head and that the shooter took off.

Nash Police quickly established a perimeter and received assistance from Bowie County Sheriff Office, Texas DPS, and TTPD.

According to TXKToday.com Michael Sutton, Public Information Officer for Nash PD said they are investigating this crime as a homicide, and the suspect is identified as James Austin Friend.
