Bye of the Tiger part 2; Glenn issues himself a walk

Posted: Updated:
BATON ROUGE, La - The LSU baseball team also loses a player as lefthander Cody Glenn is leaving, effective immediately.

The school says Glenn asked head coach Paul Mainieri for his release to go to another school.

While Glenn worked his way in to the rotation and ultimately up to number two starter last year, this season he has a team-worst era of 5.51.  It looks like he is headed to his parents’ alma mater, Lipscomb University, located in Nashville and a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference.
