SHREVEPORT, La. -

It's been a tense scene outside of a local casino today.

Shreveport Police responded to Sam'sTown Casino a little before 10 this morning where a person thought there was a fire that may have been the result of drug activity in a room.

SPD then called narcotics agents.

One female has been detained and authorities are working to determine exactly what happened.  At this time, the casino parking garage is closed off.

We have a crew on the scene.  Stay with KTBS 3 News for more details as they come in.
