A local woman sits behind bars this afternoon after it was learned she filed a false police report with Shreveport Police.

Quanisha Isidore 25, of the 6000 block of Tulsa Avenue, was jailed for her role in providing false statements to police, indicating she had been victim of a crime. Isidore initially advised she was robbed at gunpoint while making a transaction at a automated teller machine on Line Avenue.

Following an investigation conducted by Shreveport Police Robbery detectives, information was gathered that revealed Isidore fabricated her accounts of being robbed by a man at gunpoint. Isidore was subsequently arrested and booked into the Shreveport City Jail charged with filing a false police report.
