Barbara Walters' Farewell

Posted: Updated:
A star-studded send-off for Barbara Walters, today, as she co-hosted 'The View', for the very last time. After 18 years on the show, and more than 50 years in the T. V. business, Walters is now retired. The show was filled with surprises and famous friends, and Barbara still did what she does best, ask those big questions. Walters says after 5 decades of groundbreaking interviews, she is ready for some quiet time. "I look forward to not having a schedule, I look forward to traveling, it's a  whole new chapter in my life and I hope it will be a wonderful one, I hope I wont do woulda, coulda, shoulda, which is what I've done in the past", says Walters.  Barbara Walters was joined by the best-known women from recent decades of network television journalism on her last day on 'The View.'  Barbara Walters neither cried nor said “Goodbye” Thursday afternoon as she taped her final co-hosting episode of “The View.”
