ArkLaTex (KTBS) - The Texarkana, Texas area has seen a significant amount of rainfall already and more rains are expected throughout the ArkLaTex.

Heaviest rains so far have been in the I-30 Corridor. Meteorologists warn against flash flooding in some places and say storms may be severe. The main concerns with any severe storms would be damaging winds, large hail or isolated tornadoes.

Portions of two streets in Texarkana, Texas have been closed because of high water. The city announced that portions of 7th Street under the railroad bridge and 40th Street at Potomac are closed.

Portions of Sanderson Lane on the Arkansas side of Texarkana is also under water.

Officials are advising that motorists use caution when traveling in these areas and find an alternate route.

If you see a road that has been closed because of flooding, please let us know so we can help get the word out.
