Bossier student who lost battle with cancer to be remembered in weekend service

BOSSIER CITY, La. - Funeral services have been set for Jamarria Wade, 9, of Bossier City. The Stockwell Elementary 4th grader lost her two year battle with cancer last week. She had been sent home recently from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital after being told there was nothing more they could do.

Jamarria lived life to the fullest and was able to see Mickey before she died. It was one of her greatest dreams to go to Disney World with her family. She passed away Friday, June 6, soon after her return.  Pay it Forward Networking announced her passing late lat week.

Jamarria's service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Greater New Zion Baptist Church, which is located at 421 Oak Ridge Drive in Benton, LA.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. this Friday, June 13, at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home on Highway 80 in Haughton.

Please keep Jamarria's family and her school family in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve the loss of this precious girl.
