Starting book tour, Clinton confronts GOP critics

Posted: Updated:
Hillary Rodham Clinton says she's moved beyond the painful chapters in her life and is showing signs that she may wish to take on her Republican critics as she approaches a big decision about the 2016 presidential race.

The former secretary of state says in an interview with ABC News that Republican inquiries into her handling of the deadly 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, gives her, quote, "more of a reason to run." Clinton says she remains undecided about her political future, but says the Benghazi probe is a diversion from the hard work Congress should be doing to address problems.

Clinton is releasing "Hard Choices" on Tuesday, her new book on her State Department years. She says if she pursues the White House, she will work like an underdog.
