Bryant is hoping silence will become golden

Posted: Updated:
IRVING, Texas - The Cowboys will be having their one mandatory mini-camp this week before the team heads to California for training camp next month and one thing the team has not heard this off-season.. any issues from wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Bryant is in a contract year and gets asked about a possible new deal almost every time reporters show up.. All he does is continue to.. dare we say, "quietly" go about his business.  Head coach Jason Garrett calls Bryant one of the hardest working players on the team, saying he catches over 100 balls every day and Bryant.. Is working hard to respect the game and his job.  "You know, my little saying I go by is, 'you got to respect and love the job to do.'  You do that and you going to dominate. And I always love my job and, you know,  I'm doing a better job of respecting it so, you know, it's what you do."

Because of Bryant’s emotional history, it's fair to be skeptical, especially in June.  It will be an interesting situation to watch.
