Just after 9pm, Shreveport Police responded to a suspicious person call at Livingword Academy in the 700 block of Pierre Avenue. They found a man leaving the building with items believed to have been taken from the establishment. As officers approached him, he took off on foot only to be captured a short distance away.

The suspected burglar, who has now been identified as Craig Jones, 45, was arrested and subsequently charged with a single count of resisting an officer along with a second charge of burglary of a religious building.
