Posted: Updated:
A gas line exploded Thursday evening in Texarkana, Texas.

Fire crews responded to a call shortly before 6:30 p.m., at Summerhill Road and Parker Road. A sub-contractor who was working on the line was taken to Wadley Regional Medical Center with burns to his arm. He has been released.

A TTFD spokesperson says crews had the fire under control quickly. CenterPoint Energy was on scene Thursday night, working to turn off the gas valve.
