SHREVEPORT, La - A local woman has been arrested following a domestic dispute which sent a man to the hospital.

It happened Sunday morning, just after 5:30 a.m. Shreveport Police officers were called  to an apartment complex,  in the 4200 block of Greenwood Lane,

relative to a battery. When they arrived, officers located Brain Green, 29, suffering a severe laceration to the neck. Green was rushed to University Medical

Center with life threatening injuries. Officials say Shenikia Hall, 20, and Green were involved in a dating relationship, when Hall grew upset after she

observed Green engaged in conversation with a female acquaintance. Hall allegedly made threats to physically harm Green. It is believed Green was

If you drive down St Vincent Avenue you'll notice Mall St Vincent is getting a makeover. Officials say the re-investment into Mall St Vincent saved the mall from closing down which would have left the city and this neighborhood with an empty shell of a mall left behind.
