CHRISTUS Health COO William Lunn accepts position at Tulane

SHREVEPORT, La. - Dr. William Lunn, COO of CHRISTUS Health Shreveport-Bossier, has accepted a new position as President and CEO of Tulane Health System in New Orleans. Tulane is the primary teaching hospital for Tulane Medical School.

“This is a tremendous professional opportunity for Dr. Lunn and one that allows him to pursue his passion of academic medicine,” Stephen Wright, CEO and President of CHRISTUS Health Louisiana said. “These past few months have been both difficult and exciting. With major construction underway at Highland and our ambulatory expansion plan being implemented, our ministry is strong and ready for future growth. We are grateful to Dr. Lunn for leading us to this point.”

During his tenure at CHRISTUS Health Shreveport Bossier, Lunn provided leadership through a period of transformational change. He was instrumental in the expansion at the Highland campus as well as the transition of services from the Schumpert to Highland.

Lunn has been the COO at CHRISTUS Health Shreveport-Bossier since September 2009.
