Passing fancy; Manning Passing Academy is a learning experience for everyone

Posted: Updated:
Thibodeaux, LA -  The Manning Passing Academy continued their 19 year run, 8th on the campus of Nicholls State in Thibodaux Louisiana, this weekend.  Louisiana's first football family gives pointers to both high school and college quarterbacks.

Some of the big named college QB's at this year's camp include Heisman winner Jameis Winston from Florida State and Mississippi State and Haughton alum Dak Prescott.  With all of these young arms at the camp even Peyton Manning says he has things to learn, "It's fun for me to keep up with these college quarterbacks.  Watch them as they come into pro football, I feel like I have a relationship with them.  And then being around the high school kids.  It makes me feel older every year.  I ask some of these kids what year they were born and some of these kids were, it really does make me feel old.  At the same time, as I've said before, it is a great reminder right before training camp of how lucky I feel to be able to still be playing football."
