Naturals lose, Travelers' game postponed
(AP) - In the Texas League last night, the Tulsa Drillers beat Northwest Arkansas 6-4. Arkansas' game against Springfield was postponed due to rain.
The Naturals play Tulsa again tonight at 7:05 p.m. Springfield and Arkansas start a double-header at 5:10 p.m.
Razorback linebacker on Butkus Award watch list
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas senior linebacker Braylon Mitchell has been named to the watch list for the Butkus Award.
Mitchell is one of 51 players named to the list released Monday.
Semi-finalists for the award will be named Oct.27 and the finalists on Nov. 24.
The award is named after former University of Illinois and Chicago Bears standout Dick Butkus.
Arkansas defensive end named to Lombardi list
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas senior defensive end Trey Flowers has been named to the watch list for the 2014 Rotary Lombardi Award.
Flowers is one of 123 players named to the list announced Monday.
Flowers is a senior who was named second-team All-Southeastern Conference last season. He was previously named to the watch lists for both the Nagurski and Bednarik awards.

Arkansas St. linebacker named to Lombardi list
JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State senior linebacker Qushaun Lee has been named to the watch list for the 2014 Rotary Lombardi Award.
Lee is one of 123 players named to the list announced Monday.
Lee is a senior who was named first-team All-Sun Belt Conference last season and is the conference's preseason Defense Player of the Year.
Arkansas State center Giddens gives up football
JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State University center Bryce Giddens is giving up football because of various injuries.
ASU head coach Blake Anderson announced Monday that the junior center had made the decision.
Giddens was a two-year starter for ASU and was named second-team All-Sun Belt Conference as a sophomore last season.
Giddens will work in administration for the ASU athletic department and will remain on scholarship as he pursues his degree.
Ex-SAU football player signs contract in Sweden
MAGNOLIA, Ark. (AP) - Former Southern Arkansas University football player Tate Mustin has signed a professional contract to play in Sweden.
The university announced Monday that linebacker Tate Mustin has signed with the Limhamn Griffins.
Mustin was named to the Great American Conference All-Conference first team and was a third-team All-Region selection after his senior season in 2013. He was a two-year starter at SAU.
