Police: Intruder stabbed in Houma break in

Police say a 30-year-old Houma man accused of breaking into a home ended up in the hospital suffering from several stab wounds.

The Courier reports George Willis was booked with unauthorized entry and simple battery. He was treated at Terrebonne General Medical Center before being released to police early Thursday morning.

Police say Willis entered a home in attempt to collect money from a man who lived there. During the incident, investigators say Willis was stabbed three times.
