Shreveport Police detectives have arrested a local man accused of burglarizing a vehicle earlier this month.  Last Saturday, police were called to the Element Fitness health club in the 900 block of Quail Creek Road relative to the burglary of a vehicle.

The victim told officers that while visiting the business, he saw a man enter from the parking lot carrying several sets of keys. The victim said the man appeared to be trying to hide the keys belonging to him, so he confronted the man and retrieved his keys.

The suspect promptly left the business, driving away in what was described as a silver colored, late model Ford truck. The victim, upon inspection of his vehicle, noticed items had been stolen.

Surveillance video from inside the business was helpful in identifying the man suspected in the matter. Police linked Christopher Taylor, 33, to the crime and arrested him yesterday.  He was booked on a single count of simple burglary.
