Wild animals are being spotted in North Texarkana, Texas neighborhoods. Several small animals have disappeared or been found dead in the Dogwood Lake and Northridge neighborhoods, according to the Animal Services Unit. They say the extreme heat could be causing coyotes and other the predatory animals to seek out food and water. Here are some safety precautions to protect your pets and small children. Don't let your pet roam off a leash. Even fenced back yards are not a safe place for a pet or child to be alone if there are wild animals in the area. Also, don't leave any food items outside.
