in
just
a
matter
of
minutes
early
this
morning
for
a
family
in
south
caddo
parish.
the
family
spent
this
day
before
thanksgiving
picking
up
the
pieces
...
but
grateful
that
they
all
made
it
out
alive.
k-t-b-s
3's
chris
arnold
has
the
story.
I
was
sleeping
right
there
in
what
use
to
be
my
bed.
david
harmon
got
a
wake
up
call
wednesday
morning
that
he
never
expected...
I
was
sleeping
in
my
bed
and
I
heard
my
father
yell
there's
a
fire,
there's
a
fire.
just
after
6
o'clock
a
fire
sparked
behind
the
refrigerator
in
his
family's
kitchen
in
the
12-hundred
block
of
barron
road.
in
matter
of
seconds...harmon
says
the
kitchen
and
the
entire
house
became
engulfed
in
flames...
while
fire
crews
from
multiple
districts
were
able
to
get
the
blaze
under
control
in
about
an
hour...
it
couldn't
save
a
home
that
stood
for
almost
40
years...and
housed
nearly
three
generations
of
their
family...
All
my
aunts
and
uncles
lived
in
here,
my
grandparents,
all
my
brothers,
my
mom
grew
up
in
this
house.
harmon
says
the
house--and
almost
everything
inside
is
gone.
You
look
at
me
now,
everything
that
my
brothers
and
my
parents
have
on
is
all
we
have,
we
don't
have
anything.
family
members
have
stepped
up
to
try
and
help...
they've
set
up
a
bank
account
through
bancorp
south..and
they're
hoping
that
the
spirit
of
the
season
will
inspire
others
to
give.
In
this
case,
it's
so
big
and
they
need
so
much
that
we
can't
do
it
by
ourselves.
while
the
fire
couldn't
come
at
worse
time
with
thanksgiving
just
a
day
away...
harmon
says
he's
thankful
that
his
family
was
able
to
get
out
of
the
house...before
it
was
too
late.
Just
glad
we
saw
it
and
heard
it
when
we
did
because
a
minute
later
none
of
us
would
have
been
able
to
make
it
out.
All
in
all
we
all
got
out
okay
and
that's
obviously
the
most
important
thing.
in

parish...chris

ktbs
3
news.
harmon
says
they
still
aren't
sure
where
they
will
stay
for
the
time
being.
he
says
they'd
planned
to
spend
the
holiday
in
monticello,
arkansas
with
some
of
their
other
family
members...
as
chris
reported
...
an
account
has
been
set
up
if
you
would
like
to
help
the
harmon
family.
it's
through
bancorp
south.
the
account
number
is
there
on
your
screen.
when
donating
...
just
tell
them
your
contribution
is
for
kimberly
harmon
and
the
"fire
fund"
a
fatal
fire
over
the
weekend
was
a
total
loss
for
a
plain
dealing
man.
