some neighbors there in webster parish have reservations about the saturday morning evacuation scheduled by the sheriff. ktbs 3's rod white has been keeping up with the story for us so rod what are the residents planning to do in doyline? gerry, most of the residents have planned to leave town while a few others have decided to stay. and some are concerned about the safety of the inmates housed on camp minden -- a captive population that won't be evacuated. dorothey dodd plans to stay home in doyline during voluntary evacuation issued by the webster parish sheriff. If they know what they're doing they ain't go blow up. I use to haul it driving a truck and it's not a big deal. but for the sheriff, it is. this weekend authorities plan to move the million pounds of improperly stored smokeless black powder from an area behind explo systems and into a safe area. mrs. dodd's decision has her in hot water with her family. I got family members mad at me cause they think I should leave but I have animals I've got to take are of and my house so I'm not leaving. This weekend's evacuation will have an effect on business as well. Powell's Grocerwill be closed for the first time in over 40 years. It's messing me up on my grocery deliveries too. I got to change the days they deliver it. mr. powell says the evacuation will hit him in the cash register as well. It'll hurt a little bit, but it'll give me a vacation too. benny adkins of minden has a son and a nephew housed at the bayou dorcheat correction center on camp minden. he is concerned that the evacuation orders didn't extend to the facility. BDCC is housed on what is called the Y- Line area, now that's not very far from ground zero. he hopes the cost to move the inmates isn't the issue.
