company called elio motors announced yesterday that... ...it will be breathing new life into the former general motors plant in shreveport...using one third of the facility. that's where it'll build 3-wheeled .. low-price vehicles. elio is buying part of the plant to assemble its unusual-looking car. the company says the two-seat vehicle gets 84 miles per gallon on the highway .. and will sell for 68-hundred dollars. phoenix -based elio says it will hire 15- hundred workers by late 20-15 .. reviving a plant that once built pickup trucks and the commercial hummer. so what about the rest of the plant? there is still space available for other companies looking to bring jobs to the area... and elio is getting help from one of its investors to find more occupants. ktbs 3's craig sims has more. 2 c1 3 the rust belt... texas... and california. more details now on general motors... as
