neighborhods of shreveport... city inspectors, shreveport police officers and property standards personnel came together for the sixth sweep for operation t-bone. k-t-b-s 3's chris arnold folowed one group and has the story. for over five years. operation t-bone has been in cleaning up shreveport's strets... and holding residents accountable for property standards. wednesday morning was no diferent...as crews from various agencies gathered for another sweep. the main goal being to help remove blight from area neighborhoods. we will be out here helping the citizens take approach to cleaning up their area. groups were dispatched to several streets and neighborhods throughout the highland, stoner hil and fairfield historic district areas... they spent a majority of their time visiting with resints...as wel as removing old tires and debris.. the biggest violations they usually se are inoperable vehicles in residents yards. last week we taged 41 inoperable vehicles in this area alone. this particular sweep falls in shreveport city councilman jeff everson's district.. it's the second swep of the area. the first one we had almost as many in that one day of reported violations as we had in the whole year preceding that. with the 17-th anual krewe of highland parade set to roll this sunday. everson says it's also a timely one. it's getting bigger every year and this wil come right in time for us to acknowledge some of those initial problems. in order to provide the residents a clean area come parade time.and in the future. chris arnold k-t-b-s 3 news. the highland parade rolls sunday at two-p-m. there's a slight change to
