School Security

the caddo parish school board spends on personal to help keep your kids safe. earlier this evening the board's director of security presented a report to district leaders regarding school security in the wake of the newton schol shooting. director roy murray says security camera upgrades have been made at 75-percent of districts schools. and remaing schools will see those same upgrades by the start of next school year. the district is also working to create a web portal to allow better communication between schools and emergency responders. that portal would include information like the layout of a school ...and where cameras are located. "whatever responding.. that they are going to enter" this coming thursday the director of secuirty for bossier parish schools will also present a report about safety measures that are in place for bossier schools . that board meeting will start at 6pm. the latest shooting in shreveport's queensborough neighborhood
