Stroman Murder
changed his plea to "guilty." robert harrison was set to go to trial this spring .. but today entered a "guilty" plea in columbia county circuit court. ktbs three's julie parr has the latest on the case. 32-year old robert harrison will spend life in prison for the murder of 74-year old glenda stroman. late last may .. police found stroman's body inside her home on north dudney. deputy prosecuting attorney david butler says harrison had done plumbing work on stroman's home .. and went back to her house to get money for drugs. when she refused to give him any money, he got in a fight with her, choked her, and cut her throat. butler says stroman fought back against harrison.. and investigators were able to collect d-n-a evidence from her hands. both the hair and dna were critical in this case, without the arkansas crime lab's work and the dna section we would not have solved this case in my opinion. stroman's daughter and son-in-law, regina and denis minor say they're thankful the case is over . but will always miss the lost time that they could have had with her mother. they say it's a senseless crime for everyone involved. it's a tragedy to two families, not just one. we don't have to go through the court .. the trial we didn't have to hear everything, that's beter, i guess it will give some closure. julie parr, ktbs three news. harrison will serve his life sentence with the arkansas department of corrections. he was also charged with residential burglary and theft of property a lot more coming up on ktbs 3 news at 6. a new
