preparations for potential severe weather. city officials say they have a limited number of sandbags that can be loaned to residents who live in flood prone areas. some of those bags have already been distributed by request.. but they don't have enough for all homes. crews are also checking drainage structures throughout the city .. to make sure they're properly cleaned out. we make sure that our vehicles are fueled up before we leave for the day .. so that if we get called back out at night for a tree limb that falls in the street or something that we can fix .. then we are ready to go. we have people that are on-call. public work officials say they'll continue to monitor the weather and all flood prone areas. bottom line .. if you're not prepared for the storms .. it's getting close to being too late. so the best advice is take care of things while you can to protect your family and your property. ok .. good advice .. thanks gerry. as always .. we are your source
