Heat Advisory Extended

Weather Update

POSTED: 9:12 pm CDT July 31, 2010
With temperatures soaring to near 102 for the next couple of days, and heat index values close to 110, The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory through 7 PM Monday evening. Since temperatures are going to be extremely hot, make sure to stay safe, as heat exhaustion, and heat stroke could occur quickly. As a ridge of high pressure remains in control of our weather, no rain will be in the forecast for the next four to six days.

High temperatures will be at or above 100 through Thursday of next week.
