SHREVEPORT, La. -

The image of high level cirrostratus clouds at about 19,000 FT of altitude and none below indicates a stable atmosphere this evening.  And if you missed the rain today, it may be some time before the next good downpour.

Here are some of the rain totals over the past 24 hours:

Shreveport:  trace, Bossier City:  trace, Natchitoches:  .01, Winnfield:  .01, Nacogdoches:  .41, Center:  .09, Henderson:  .60, Carthage:  .42, Longview:  .37, Jefferson:  .04, Atlanta:  .23, Texarkana:  .06, Clarksville:  .06, Idabel:  .68, Broken Bow:  .59 and De Queen:  .09 inches.

Next chance for moisture falling from the sky is Saturday morning north of I-20.  That possibility is small.
