Sandy slowly weakening over Pennsylvania
Post Tropical Storm Sandy is approaching Pittsburgh, PA at about 10 mph. Sustained winds are down to 45 mph with higher gusts. The pressure is up to 983 mb and continues to rise indicating further weakening.
Sandy is more of a snow maker now with over 3 foot accumulations reported in the mountains of West Virginia. Heavy Snow Warnings continue through tonight.
The forecast from the National Hurricane Center has the storm diminishing even more and moving into western New York state by Wednesday morning.
