This week you can catch an in-depth analysis of the 2012 hurricane season with the KTBS Storm Team 3 meteorologists.

A special 30-minute ArkLaTex In Focus: Hurricane Season 2012 will air every day this week on KTBS digital channel 3.3.  That's channel 208 on Comcast in Shreveport and channel 722 on SuddenLink in Bossier City.

In the 30-minute special, Storm Team 3 meteorologists Joe Haynes, Alexandra Cranford and Rhonda Lee tackle topics like how an approaching El Nino event could affect hurricane formation and how new technology helps with tropical forecasting.  They also address how well the ArkLaTex is equipped to handle an influx of evacuees from south Louisiana.

You can catch the ArkLaTex In Focus: Hurricane Season 2012 on KTBS 3.3 at these times:
