Third-graders from Plantation Park Elementary School in Bossier City got a behind-the-scenes tour of the KTBS Storm Team 3 Weather Center on Thursday morning.

More than 80 students and their teachers toured the KTBS studio and weather center as part of their grade's Media Day field trip.

The students took turns stepping in front of the bright green chroma wall where KTBS meteorologists present their on-air weathercasts.  They also toured the KTBS newsroom to see how the newsroom staff gathers the top local stories of the day.

After spending the morning at KTBS, the students stopped by a local radio station to continue their Media Day field trip.
