Our latest winter storm responsible for the big chill and wintry mix over the past few days has finally left the area. As shown, I-49 in Shreveport is open again. Afternoon sunshine allowed temperatures to rise into the 40s melting any residual ice.
Elsewhere, in eastern parts of the ArkLaTex, the clouds have been slow to clear and highs today were well below normal.
