SHREVEPORT, La. - After Thanksgiving, more Christmas decorations are popping up across the Ark-La-Tex. This year's "Angel Tree" is already lit up and decorated at The Salvation Army in Shreveport. The tree is festooned with large white tags, each one represents a child in need this holiday season.

The Salvation Army will put cut out Angels on trees with information about a child’s age, sizes, and wish lists, for people to pick up, buy the toy and return to the Salvation Army. The applications will come through the Boys and Girls Clubs, Caddo and Bossier schools, and organizations that work with the Salvation Army already. Viewers can pick up the Angels at Mall St. Vincent, Pierre Bossier Mall & the Salvation Army on Stoner
