The KTBS 3 Community Caravan happens once a month, and is one more way we are proving KTBS is On Your Side. We go to different locations around the region, and profile that community. Several of our staff from different departments attend, as well as some of our news talent. During the week of the KTBS 3 Community Caravan, Rick Rowe uses his franchises to showcase that community. Whether it’s Rick’s Tasty Tuesday report, or Stories from the Heart, the community gets exposure. On Thursday of that week, we will have lunch at a restaurant and invite the public to come meet the KTBS folks. We ask the public what they like about their town, and air some of those comments on the evening newscasts. The KTBS 3 Community Caravan is a chance to hear from viewers from all over the ArkLaTex.
