SHREVEPORT, La. – Shreveport restaurant Wine Country Bistro will be closing after dinner service on Saturday, according to partner Jason Brady. The restaurant originally opened in Pierremont Mall in 2006 and moved to its present location at 4800 Line Avenue next to Uptown Shopping Center in 2016.
Brady said continuing the restaurant is unsustainable, but that he will be working first and foremost to help current employees find other jobs.
“We are so grateful for our employees, from the kitchen to the waitstaff, and hope that our customers who come to Wine Country between now and June 15th will also show their gratitude to these loyal people," Brady said.
“We will continue to focus on Parish Taceaux and Southern Fork Catering and look forward to new endeavors. We are so grateful to our loyal customers who have patronized Wine Country through the years. It was a difficult decision to make, but sometimes you just have to know when it’s time to move on," Brady said.
