BOSSIER CITY, La. -- Bossier City police have confirmed reports Tuesday by KTBS that a woman who died after being found unresponsive in her home is a homicide victim.
The woman is identified as 50-year-old Graciela Gonzalez Lozano of 2201 Loreco Street Building 13 Apartment 1316.
Detectives say signs of trauma were evident, which prompted the investigation into the death.
The investigation is ongoing.

BOSSIER CITY, La. - Bossier City police are investigating the slaying of a Hispanic woman found inside an apartment Monday afternoon.
A source with knowledge of the investigation told KTBS the unidentified woman was found by a maintenance worker at the Alexis Park Apartments after spotting smoke coming the unit.
The worker removed the woman from the apartment and she was taken by ambulance to Ochsner LSU Health where she was pronounced dead.
The source said the woman had been stabbed multiple times.
Police have confirmed the death.
No one was been arrested in the case.
